GREENVILLE, SC – South Carolina’s Conservative Future endorsed four candidates for the state legislature Thursday. The organization, founded by businessman John Warren, has committed to endorsing and supporting state legislative candidates who are conservative, capable, and courageous.
The endorsements include:
- Joe Bustos, House District 112 – Charleston County
- Senator Chip Campsen, District 43 – Beaufort, Charleston, and Colleton Counties
- Representative Patrick Haddon, District 19 – Greenville County
- Michael Johnson, Senate District 16 – Lancaster and York Counties
In announcing the endorsements, Warren said, “South Carolina’s Conservative Future is working to elect and re-elect leaders who will fight for taxpayers. Re-electing Chip Campsen and Patrick Haddon, and sending Michael Johnson and Joe Bustos, to the state legislature will be a victory for fiscal conservatism and economic growth.”
In addition to these four candidates, South Carolina’s Conservative Future previously endorsed six candidates. Previous endorsements can be found here. South Carolina’s Conservative Future will utilize robust voter contact strategies through independent expenditures in support of endorsed candidates, including direct mail, digital advertising, and ground operations. The organization will only support Republicans who maintain a conservative record on key issues like limited government, expanding economic opportunity, and protecting life.
